Church of Apostle Filippou

In the center of the village of Arsos rises magnificently the church of the Apostle Philip, who is the patron saint of the community. The present built structure was founded in the early twentieth century, taking the place of a much older medieval church that had been destroyed. The interior of the building is adorned with a historic wood-carved iconostasis, while in the space are kept a rare icon of the 13th century as well as a part of the holy relics of the Saint.
