Church of Archangel Michael Axistratigou

This historic chapel is located in the area of Kato Arodes in the Paphos district and is dedicated to the Archangel Michael the Commander-in-Chief. It is a plain, single-aisled structure of traditional construction, which preserves the authentic religious atmosphere of the Cypriot countryside. The church serves the spiritual needs of the community during the days of the local celebrations and the annual festivals. Owing to its limited interior space and its remote location, it functions mainly as a refuge of serenity and individual prayer for the faithful of the surrounding area.
