Church of Archangel Michael

This remarkable church is located in the central core of the occupied town of Gialousa in Karpasia. The structure follows the traditional provincial style of the period, bearing a single-aisled form and plain exterior decorative elements. The church has suffered great damage and plundering after the events of 1974, with the result that it is no longer accessible for the celebration of regular Orthodox services.
