Church of Holy Forerunner (St John the Baptist) Dymon

This modern central church of the community was erected at the end of the twentieth century right next to the older preserved church of the village. Its construction is based on brick, but it bears exterior facing of local mountain stone and a beautiful dome decorated with tiles. The structure follows the style of the single-space cruciform basilica with a dome and is complemented by a tall, imposing bell tower. In its interior dominates an elaborate wood-carved iconostasis with modern icons, making the church the main worship core of the residents.
