Church of Holy Forerunner (St John the Baptist) Louvara

This small medieval church is located in the core of the community of Louvaras in the Limassol district, at a very short distance from the church of Saint Mamas. It is a plain, single-space structure that follows the type of the wooden-roofed church of mountainous Cyprus. Its interior is protected by the Department of Antiquities and preserves precious religious decoration. It functions mainly supplementarily for the needs of the community, offering a quiet space of individual worship and devotion.
