Church of Panagia Chrisospiliotissa

To the south of the village is located the small Byzantine-style chapel of Panagia Chrysospiliotissa, built in 1928 and renovated in 1982 and 2000 without altering its architecture. According to tradition, on its site there was an older church. Below the chapel survive caves where ascetics stayed and took refuge in periods of persecution, receiving food and water from small openings and a cistern for collecting rainwater.
