Church of Panagia Chrysomyrousas

This is a picturesque, mountainous chapel dedicated to the Dormition of the Theotokos, which is built within a beautiful and pine-covered location a little outside the village. The church is single-aisled with a gabled wooden roof and tiles, having been erected in the early 1970s upon the ruins of an older church. It is a quiet spiritual refuge of Pitsilia, which opens for pilgrimage and services mainly during the summer feasts of the fifteenth of August.
