Church of Saint Demetrios

This main church of the community rises imposingly within the verdant forest of Troodos and is surrounded by a spacious paved courtyard. Built based on the Gothic architectural style, it impresses the visitor already from its entrance with a large mosaic, while its interior floor is also stone. In the interior stands out an extremely well-crafted wood-carved iconostasis and the rich decoration with wall paintings. The church is the central worship core of the village, gathering crowds of the faithful during the annual festival of the Saint.
