Church of Saint George

This impressive church is the central church of the community and is located very close to the central square. The structure presents a very distinctive Gothic architectural line and was erected on the site of an older church. In its interior stands out the beautiful wooden iconostasis, while the historic icon of the Saint that survived is kept for protection in a neighboring structure. Owing to its size, the church serves all the great religious needs of the area.
