Church of Saint John the Theologian

The Holy Church of Saint John the Theologian is the central parish church of the community of Katydata in the Solea valley. It is an imposing structure that follows the type of the single-aisled basilica and dominates the center of the village. In its interior is hosted a wood-carved iconostasis of excellent craftsmanship and rare historic icons, being the main spiritual core and the focal point of all the religious events of the residents.
