Church of Saint Nicholas

This emblematic parish church is one of the most recognizable religious and geographical landmarks in the center of Limassol, giving its name to the eponymous large roundabout of the city. Architecturally it is designed in an imposing cruciform style with a large central dome and is entirely faced with traditional white hewn stone. Its interior is distinguished by its magnificent wood-carved furnishing, its rich wall-painting decoration, and its comfortable women's gallery, while its spacious precinct teems with life during the great religious festivals.
