Church of Saint Panteleimon

The Holy Church of Saint Panteleimon of Makedonitissa rises imposingly at the intersection of Iroon and Pentelis Streets in Engomi of Nicosia. It is a modern, magnificent structure that follows neo-Byzantine church building and is one of the central spiritual beacons of the area. Its main entrance is adorned with an impressive mosaic that depicts Christ, the Panagia, and Saint Panteleimon, while the church teems with life during its annual festival on the 27th of July.
