Church of Saint Xenofontos

This is a historic chapel of unique religious importance, which is located at a short distance northeast of the core of the village of Mazotos. The church is dedicated to Saint Xenophon and is more widely known in Cyprus by the appellation Saint Xorinos, as he is considered the protector who drives away evil and illnesses. In its interior is kept a famous miraculous icon of the 19th century, while every year at the end of January the space attracts hundreds of pilgrims from the entire island.
