Church of the Saints Reginos and Oresti

This modern and magnificent church is the central church of the mountainous community of Apliki in the Nicosia district, belonging to the Holy Metropolis of Tamasos and Oreini. It is dedicated to the Cypriot Great Martyrs Reginos and Orestes, who are honored with particular reverence in the area. The structure stands out for its traditional stonework that harmonizes with the natural environment of Troodos, having a large dome and a comfortable surrounding space. Owing to its excellent facilities and its beautiful mountainous location, the church is used normally for hosting all the great religious ceremonies, as well as for weddings or baptisms.
