Church of Transfiguration of the Saviour

The Holy Church of the Transfiguration of the Saviour is the central parish church of the community of Kampia in the Nicosia district. The structure belongs ecclesiastically to the region of the Holy Metropolis of Tamasos and Oreini and is the core of the religious events of the area. The church celebrates with particular devotion and splendor every year on the 6th of August, attracting crowds of the faithful from the surrounding communities for the established feast of the Transfiguration.
