Holy Chapel of Panagia Alampronas

This distinctive and isolated chapel is located on the geographical boundaries of Avgorou, in the free Famagusta district. Owing to its location, it is considered a spiritual property and closely connects the residents both of the community of Avgorou and of the neighboring community of Xylofagou. It is a plain, traditional structure of the Cypriot countryside with whitewashed masonry, which offers a quiet and serene environment for the local pilgrims.
