Holy Chapel of Saint Nicholas

This is a small and isolated chapel in the rural area of the village of Maroni, which is closely connected with the history of the community. The church was erected near the location Petrera, where archaeological excavations brought to light the foundations of an older ruined church. The space presents particular archaeological and religious interest, while this plain little church functions today as a quiet place of pilgrimage and individual prayer.
