Holy Church Life - Givingspring

This church is the central church of the community of Amargeti in Paphos and was founded upon older structures in the late 19th century. After the extensive damage it suffered from the powerful earthquake of 1953, the building was completely rebuilt and partially extended a few years later. The interior of the church stands out for its elaborate wood-carved iconostasis, while the community celebrates with every formality on the Friday of Renewal (Bright Friday).
