Holy Church of Archangel Michael

This small church is a UNESCO World Heritage Monument and stands out for the traditional wooden roof of the mountainous areas. It was erected and fully painted with hagiographies during the second half of the 15th century at the expense of a local priest and his family. Inside it, an exceptional wooden iconostasis and rare, rich wall paintings are preserved, showcasing the local religious painting art.
