Holy Church of Holy Forerunner (St John the Baptist)

This is one of the oldest and most historic churches of Larnaca, which is located in the central parish of Saint John the Forerunner of the same name. This stone edifice bears traditional post-Byzantine elements and stands out for its contemplative atmosphere. Inside it, noteworthy old icons and an elaborate iconostasis are preserved, making the church a steady spiritual and worship core for the local community of the town.
