Holy Church of Panagia Aimatousas

The church of Panagia Aimatousa, or as many call it the Avdellerkotissa, is the main church and is located in the centre of the village. The icon of the Virgin Mary is placed on the iconostasis, and in the lower part is the largest iconostasis, the Theotokos, which bears the following inscription: 'REMEMBER, LADY, YOUR SERVANT MICHAEL 1821'. Testimonies of the community's inhabitants report that the real icon has been stolen and that for several years now another icon of the Virgin Mary has been placed in its stead. Next to the church there is a park where children can play.
