Holy Church of Panagia Chryseleousis

This imposing church is the main church of the community of Ineia in Paphos and is dedicated to the Nativity of the Theotokos. Although the construction of the structure was originally completed around 1900, its official inauguration was held in 1914 by the then Metropolitan of Paphos Iakovos I. The church is made of local hewn stone, incorporating traditional architectural elements of the Cypriot countryside. It functions as the living religious and social centre of the village, hosting every year a large festival on 8 September.
