Holy Church of Panagia Evangelistria Polemidion

This is a large and imposing cross-in-square church with a dome, which dominates the wider area of Polemidia. Its construction began in the early 20th century and was completed after several decades thanks to the efforts of the faithful. Its exterior walls are clad with the characteristic hewn stone of Limassol, while its tall bell tower and the elaborate roofed propylaea with the stone columns stand out.
