Holy Church of Panagia Rodon the Amaranton

The Holy Church of the Virgin Mary, which is also known as Panagia Chryseleousa, is located in the community of Kato Koutrafas in the Nicosia district. This stone edifice houses the miraculous icon 'Rodon to Amaranton' (the Unfading Rose), which dates from the 17th century. Inside the church, an iconostasis of particular beauty and rare craftsmanship dominates, which was created by the renowned craftsman Evrykleidis during the first decades of the 20th century.
