Holy Church of Panagia Tricherousis Lemesou

This large parish church is located in the Kapsalos area of Limassol, near the Tsirio Stadium, and was erected thanks to a donation of land by devout inhabitants. It was originally built as a single-aisled church, but with later extensions it took its present form as a three-aisled cross-in-square basilica with a central dome. It is an important spiritual centre for the town, as it safeguards a faithful, valuable copy of the miraculous icon of the same name from the Hilandar Monastery on Mount Athos.
