Holy Church of Saint Basil (Ruins)

This is the central church of the occupied, formerly small mixed village of Vasili in the area of Karpasia. The church is inextricably connected with the name of the community, as it is considered that the village took its name from Saint Basil. Unfortunately, after the events of 1974 and the displacement of the majority of the residents, the historic structure remains inaccessible for free worship and is in need of immediate conservation and repairs so that it does not collapse.
