Holy Church of Saint Charalambos and Saint Prokopios

This church is the central parish church of the village of Trachypedoula in Paphos and is dedicated to two Saints. The structure was erected upon the old foundations of an earlier church that was historically dedicated exclusively to Saint Prokopios. Its structure follows the type of the single-aisled basilica with elements of traditional stone masonry, fully harmonised with the rural character of the area. The church functions as the main spiritual core of the community, drawing the interest and devotion of the faithful twice a year during the respective festivals.
