Holy Church of Saint Constantine (Ruins)

This church of Saints Constantine and Helen is located in the occupied community of Livera, near the cape of Kormakitis. After the Turkish invasion of 1974, the church ceased to operate for the displaced faithful and was used for many years illegally as a mosque, until the erection of a new Muslim mosque in the area in 2014. Its structure preserves the classical architectural line of the provincial churches of Kyrenia, remaining an important historic and religious landmark.
