Holy Church of Saint Demetrios Paralimniou

This impressive, large-sized church is built in the form of a three-aisled basilica with a dome and is a modern spiritual center for the community. It is a triple-dedication church dedicated to Saints Demetrios, Demetrianos, and Fanourios, having rich wall-painting decoration that covers its entire interior. Among the great relics of the church is counted the miraculous icon of Panagia Esphagmeni, which was transferred there as a precious blessing from the Holy Great Monastery of Vatopedi.
