Holy Church of Saint Epifaneios (Ruins)

This is the central parish church of the occupied community of Milia in the Famagusta district, dedicated to Saint Epiphanios. The church was the focal point of the religious and social life of the fellow villagers until the uprooting and the refuge of 1974. Although it is under occupation, in recent years permission is very rarely granted by the United Nations for the passage of the displaced residents for the celebration of occasional moving services, but the carrying out of free weddings or baptisms remains impossible.
