Holy Church of Saint George Mylikouriou

This historic church rises within the rugged relief of the mountainous settlement, surrounded by the verdant forest of Paphos. The structure follows the type of the three-aisled basilica, with each aisle bearing a separate religious dedication in honor of different saints. In its interior dominates an old wood-carved iconostasis of excellent craftsmanship, which is complemented by rare relics and historic icons of the same period. It is the central spiritual core of the community, functioning as the main space of worship and gathering of the few permanent residents.
