Holy Church of Saint George

This church is the central church of the small occupied community of Orka in the Kyrenia district, built in a beautiful seaside location. After the displacement of the Greek-Cypriot residents in 1974, the church ceased to operate normally and the building suffered significant damage with the passage of time. Its structure preserves the traditional architectural elements of the churches of the area, being a symbol of historical and religious memory for the refugees of the village.
