Holy Church of Saint George

This is the historic old parish church that is located in the heart of the community of Xylofagou. The stone structure follows the type of the single-aisled church and stands out for its traditional stonework and its elaborate bell tower. In its interior are kept rare old icons and a remarkable iconostasis, being for centuries the spiritual refuge and the center of the religious life of the area's residents.
