Holy Church of Saint Luke Iatrou

The Holy Church of Saint Luke the Physician is located in the Laiki Lefkothea area of Agia Fyla in Limassol, with its construction works beginning in 2009. Until the upper section is fully completed, the services are held in a suitably arranged basement space, which functions as a church and houses a chapel of Panagia Gorgoypikoos. The final architectural structure of the church will follow the basilica type with an octagonal arrangement and a central dome, drawing inspiration from the historic Monastery of Hosios Loukas in Steiri.
