Holy Church of Saint Mamas

This is a small and extremely austere church dating from the years of the Turkish occupation, bearing a characteristic wooden gabled roof. The structure has a semicircular apse incorporated into the eastern wall, as well as a closed portico running along its northern side. Inside, an icon of the Saint of great historical value carried in processions is kept with particular reverence; it is thought to date from the Frankish period.
