Holy Church of Saint Nicholas

This is an exceptionally well-preserved, ancient church built within the traditional stone-built core of the community. The church belongs to the distinctive type of the single-aisled timber-roofed churches of the Troodos mountain range, with a characteristic sloping gabled roof. Its exterior masonry is made entirely of the well-known Limassol stone, while inside the marvellous wooden support of the roof stands out, reinforcing the traditional contemplative feeling.
