Holy Church of Saint Panteleimon

This modern and imposing church is the main church of the community of Galata in the valley of Solea. Its construction began in the late 1980s and was fully completed in the mid-1990s to meet the growing needs of the inhabitants. The structure faithfully follows the traditional Orthodox standards of church architecture with a large central dome, while internally it is decorated with noteworthy depictions, such as the Platytera and the Annunciation. Owing to its large capacity, central position and comfortable surrounding space, the church is ideal for the celebration of weddings and baptisms.
