Holy Church of Saint Polydorou

This modern church is located in the Kaimakli district of Nicosia, very close to the ceasefire line in the area of the northern buffer zone. It is the first and only church on the entire island dedicated to the Nicosian Neomartyr Saint Polydoros. Its construction began in the mid-2000s in order to meet the constantly growing needs of the parish, offering a contemplative space of prayer with impressive height and refined aesthetics.
