Holy Church of Saints Kyprianou and Ioustinis

This imposing church dominates the old settlement and is one of the most important places of pilgrimage on the entire island. The current structure was built in the mid-nineteenth century upon the foundations of an older medieval church founded by a Frankish king. Inside it, valuable holy relics of the Saints are kept, while in the courtyard there is a spring with miraculous consecrated water. Owing to its great fame, the site attracts hundreds of locals as well as foreign visitors daily, especially from countries of Eastern Europe.
