Holy Church of Transfiguration of the Saviour

This church is located in the semi-mountainous village of Sanida in the Limassol district and is dedicated to the Transfiguration of the Saviour. Architecturally it is a three-aisled basilica, which was built in the mid-19th century and underwent significant extension as well as renovation in the early 20th century. The structure is crafted with traditional stone of the area, while its tiled roof stands out for the six impressive cross-vaults that are formed on its upper part.
