Holy Monastery of Panagia Chrysokourdaliotissas

This historic women's monastery is built in the verdant valley of the village of Kourdali, which is part of the cluster of Spilies. The katholikon of the monastery is a three-aisled wooden-roofed church with a gabled roof and rough stonework, which preserves excellently crafted wall paintings that date around 1520. In its interior also stand out the beautiful, elaborate wood-carved furniture and the historic iconostasis, making the monument one of great national and religious heritage.
