Holy Monastery of Saint Menas Atias, Pentalia

This historic monastic little church is located in a quiet location between old and new Pentalia of Paphos, built upon the foundations of an older dissolved monastery. The existence of the church is attested from the period of Ottoman rule, having indeed been recorded by the Russian traveler Vasily Barsky during his visit in 1735. The present small church is surrounded by a forecourt with auxiliary structures, poplars, and fruit trees, functioning as a serene space of pilgrimage and weekly services.
