Holy Vasiliki Saint Arsenios Kappadokou Kyperountas

This imposing church dominates upon a hill of mountainous Pitsilia, reviving the monumental architectural style of the five-aisled wooden-roofed early Christian basilica. Its towering roof, which reaches twenty-two meters, ensures exemplary acoustics in the interior, which is adorned with elaborate Corinthian capitals and an impressive marble floor. Two autonomous chapels have been incorporated into the structure, making the church a modern spiritual and architectural landmark for all of Cyprus.
