Holy Water Panagia Odigitrias Parsata

This small, recently renovated chapel is built in the uninhabited and ruined settlement of Parsata, which is administratively connected with neighboring Lageia. The church is dedicated to Panagia the Hodegetria and from its paved courtyard offers an impressive view toward the valley of Vasilopotamos and the Kalavasos dam. At a very short distance from the stone structure a traditional structure related to the local holy spring (agiasma) is preserved, being the only point of spiritual reference in this "ghost village."
