John of Lampadistis

This is an impressive and large church located in the centre of the mountain community, having been built on the site of an older church. Its architectural structure follows the type of the three-aisled cross-in-square basilica and stands out from a long distance thanks to its large and imposing central dome. The construction of the building lasted several decades owing to the financial difficulties of the era, while today its interior is fully painted with hagiographies and is the religious centre of the parish of the same name.
