Mitropolitiki Church of Saint George

The imposing church of Saint George in Evrychou was designated as the official Metropolitan Church of the Metropolis of Morphou after the events of 1974. The structure follows the Gothic style and has an impressive bell tower that was added in the early 20th century. Inside it, important religious relics are kept, among which the Honourable Skull as well as the historic portable icon of Saint Kyriakos stand out.
