Monastery of Saint Serafeim of Sarof - Skouriotissa

The Holy Hesychasterion was founded in the lush green 'Exinta' area of Skouriotissa, on the site where the local Police Station of the mining settlement was formerly housed. The building facilities were suitably arranged for the needs of the monastic sisterhood, with one of the rooms initially being converted into a shrine. It is an important spiritual refuge in Cyprus, where a relic of the Saint is kept and the services are held both in Greek and in Russian.
