New Holy Church of Archangel Michael

At the most central spot of the mountainous community of Dierona rises imposingly the new main church that is dedicated to Archangel Michael. This modern edifice serves the daily worship needs of the Christian inhabitants of the area. Inside it are kept important ecclesiastical relics and historic icons that were transferred from the older medieval church, while its surrounding space is the centre of the village's religious events.
