Old Church of Holy Forerunner (St John the Baptist)

This traditional church is an exquisite example of the ecclesiastical heritage of the area, made entirely of local stone. It has an austere, severe exterior appearance and a characteristic architectural profile. Owing to its historic character, it has been preserved unchanged in time as a protected monument, while the sacraments and the great services are now housed in the newly built church of the parish.
