Old Church of Saint Theraponta

This historic church dominates the central core of the settlement and is inextricably connected with the course of the local ascetic. Within the complex, right below the floor, the authentic cave where the Saint dwelt is preserved, as well as a spring with healing water. The structure of the building stands out for its traditional stonework, being a timeless point of reference and contemplation for the whole wider area.
